World's largest Aircraft Crash : Airlander 10 Crash

AIRLANDER 10 : World's Largest Aircraft Damage During Landing

On 19/08/2016 I Have shared a content about World's largest Aircraft : Airlander 10. It has crashed during its second test flight. The 92m long aircraft was damaged during the flight. Crew were safe and well. The flight went really well and the only issue was when it landed.

A line that was hanging down from the plane hit the telegraph pole about two fields away. Then, as it came in to land, it seemed to nose dive and landed on the cockpit, smashing it up.

About Airlander :

Weight 44,100 lbs (20,000kg).

Maximum speed 80 knots (148km/h).
Altitude it can reach 20,000ft (6,100m).

Airlander 10 can carry a ten tonne payload and is supposed to be able to stay in the air for up to five days. The company hopes to be building ten of them per year by 2021.
